If we beat Melbourne and Souths beat the Dogs then for and against means nothing. It all depends on whether Manly lose one of their games against Panthers (H) or Cowboys (A). If they do then the last game against Souths will be for the minor premiership. Because we play Souths on the Thursday the minor premiership may be decided on Saturday night when Manly play the Cowboys.

Would be good if Melbourne beat Penrith tomorrow.

It's more likely than not that we will win the Minor Premiership.
And I think it could be a record as far as the team that wins it having the most losses.
Just as exciting is the possibility that if Souffs lose the next two they could miss the top 4.
I have said for a while that we can win it at 80% but if we can get to those missing gears it will really be a treat.

But I do think the Cows will do a job on them in the last round up there.

IF STORM BEAT PANTHERS TONIGHT
Rd 25 - we have to beat Storm
Rd 26 - we have to beat Souths
...and we need Manly to lose at least one of their last two games (Panthers and Cowboys). If this happens, we will finish on 36, and Penrith and Manly can both finish on no higher than 36. Our F/A is far better than both of them and two wins would only make it better.
IF PANTHERS BEAT STORM TONIGHT
Rd 25 - we have to beat Storm
Rd 26 - we have to beat Souths
...and we need whoever wins the Manly vs Panthers match in Rd 25 to lose in Rd 26 (Manly play Cowboys, Panthers play Warriors). If this happens, likewise we finish on 36, and again Penrith and Manly can both finish on no higher than 36 and will fall victim to our strong F/A.
The other very intriguing match, of course, if Bulldogs vs Souths next week. If Bulldogs win, then good. If Souths win, however, and the other cards fall as they may (Storm win tonight and Panthers win next week, for example), then it sets up a Roosters v Souths minor premiership battle in Rd 26. THIS is what we want!

The Mack is BACK!!!
I've said it all year Top 4 with a fit team and go from there.
With a probable all Sydney top 4 positions 1-4 might not matter.
Good news is we are finally fit and playing some decent footy, if that continues no matter where we finish we are going to be tough to beat.
