  • Roosters vs Warriors match discussion

an absolutely cracking day in Auckland today, no excuses from the weather.

apparently a couple of changes for the Warriors side today, I know Townsend playing NSW cup yesterday.

for us it now seems likely both SBW and Friend will be back.

a shame Hastings isn't playing NYC today.

not at the match, just watching on foxtel, its currently live on channel 501

NYC boys looking sharp early on, MacDonald playing at 6 with be a handful when he decides to run.

We have some cracking forwards coming through. Willis Meehan is a beast.

At least they've flown Hayne over for firsts, keep that penalty count nice and tight thanks Shayne.

our NYC boys look like they are a very well coached unit, really good structure in attack.

currently up 10-6, penalties the only thing keeping the Warriors in the match, another dodgy one then for running a player off the ball on a bomb contest.

NYC boys up 16-12 at half time

can someone explain to me how with a 100% completion rate and extra 250 running metres and total dominance in general play, we can be losing the penalty count 6-2, the sheer amount of extra tackling the warriors have needed to do should in all logic lead to more opportunities to give away penalties.

Taane Milne might be done for the season, that was a horrible spear tackle, he is going to get a long suspension for that.

That sucks for Kane, he's been in better form than Napa.

someone was saying he is at a family wedding this weekend and wasn't available for selection anyway, if everyone stays healthy todays starting 17 will likely be it for the rest of the year, although an argument could be made for Evans to be in ahead of Liu.

Evans is ahead of Napa but not Liu.....at the moment.

that has to be one of the worst video ref overturns I have ever seen, there was no way the player was going to stop MacDonald from scoring.
