Except SBW is already thinking about the Rugby World Cup.

Cordners mistake can be forgiven, at least it happened now rather than later. Such a devastating runner of the ball, how lucky are we to have him lead after SBW is gone and Guerra to follow suit.

No huge deal...the overall show today had such an awesome quality about it you almost expect perfection.
At least he did the honourable thing and tossed Jenko a freebie for our last try. He knew he owed him one!

His stupidity cost us 2nd spot on ladder with him not looking or passing to his left bombed 2 certain tries

I am glad that our biggest problem seems to be that our international second-rower has issues setting up support players when he has made a bust. He can fix it.

I remember seeing Jason Cayless making a break early on in his Roosters career, he almost stopped and thought what do I do now ....
Cordner did carve them up yesterday and I think he will not blow chances like that again.

Like Milanja said, he had too many choices and perhaps because he went through so easily and having seen so much support, he didn't know where to go. He didn't rely on instinct and thought about it too much.

I get your point. However it is a concern as it is pretty much a basic fundamental of the game which at 22 years of age should have already been mastered. I look forward to eventually seeing him fix this fundamental flaw in his game

Has any one mentioned his off load to jennings for the last try when he could have scored himself?

Agreed JT - we have three of the best back rowers in Cordner, Guerra and Aubusson, rectifying passing skills pretty easy playing tough and running the great lines like these three can - priceless

Less than school boy standard... which school did you go to?

One poor option doesn't make a guy overrated, or can't physically do simple stuff. That's like saying JT missed a couple of conversions on the weekend so needs to go back to high school and learn how to kick.

Boyd gets about as much praise as he deserves IMO. He's in his early 20s, has fought through sever injuries/pain to even be on the field, has won a premiership, has won a world cup and has won an Origin series.

The most I've heard said about him is he's 'tough' and 'has Origin written all over him'. Nobody says he's the next SBW... but he's a tough Origin quality player with a lot of ticker. I don't think anybody can refute that he's made for Origin/big games. And if you don't think he's tough, then I don't know who is.

Pretty sure if you put him in the St Greg's 1st's he'd be drawing whole teams over in 13 on 2 situations and scoring/setting up a lot of tries regardless of the competition. When it's a a bunch of 1st graders who will potentially read the play/intercept the pass then you can't always trick them.
