Oooh the golden era when I became a chookie...I had Ian Schubert as a student teacher when we won in 75. We appeared on the Mirror the week before the GF with him...Strange enough, Tom Verlaine's Ghost happened to have a copy of that photo from the Mirror which he scanned and sent to me. Good memories of Coote, Brass, Reilly, Mayes, Mullins...et al, as they say.

That's very cool ROC - Ian Schubert was something else - we had some incredibly big fast backs in this team - Schubert, Harris and Mullins - back in the days when players had jobs - i remember getting an autograph from a friends dad who worked with Johnny Mayes at the Commonwealth Bank
