Agreed, if that was any of our players we'd all be fuming. But, alas, it's not...so fark him

Isaac Luke fighting the charge and risking 2 games on the sidelines.
The judiciary is a joke and I am sure will clear him of any wrong doing allowing him to take the field Thursday night.

I hope he is cleared to play. I honestly believe the boys have Souffs covered and it will hurt there confidence more when we beat them at full strength.

Remember, Burgerase and Ingliss are in some doubt, with Sam the worse. They may inject him and cause more problems or rest them both...Then again they'll want to win the Coolabah Cask wine competition if it was up for grabs. they're desperate for something.

We will also be without Friend, FPN and possibly Jennings.

Any news on whether he has been suspended for the high hit?

Jennings charged with grade 1. Early plea means he plays. source is the roosters website

I'm almost certain Luke will get off.

Without Friend and FPNs aggression this game will be a coin flip... both forward packs will rip in that's for sure.

All top 3 teams have lost a key player for the coming week...

                      Manly : J Buhrer
                      Roosters: J Friend
                      Souths: A Reynolds

yes but Reynolds is back next week, Buhrer is done for the season, and Jakes futures is certainly uncertain at this point.

Funny hearing Graham Hughes on 2SM saying the door has opened for the Rabbits to win the comp due to recent injuries to Manly and the Roosters..

he is right though, Manly simply don't have the backrow depth at the moment, Buhrer/Stewart done for the season and Watmough playing with a torn bicep, their bench is a major weakness.

in our case Friend is a massive blow, he touches the ball more than any other player.

the judiciary will take around 3 seconds to overturn the Luke dangerous contact charge, hard to believe he has to front the judiciary and Matai wasn't even charged.

Let's hope Friend recovers quickly and is available week 3 of the finals should we get there.

FMD - I saw Sam Burgess up at Darlo today - track pants thongs and a stupid oversized beanie - he looked more like a vermin supporter on meth than a 1st grader.
