Ok, here is some factual information which I just received:
Jake was sent home today after 3 blood transfusions and no-one expects to see him back on the field in the near future, nor should they, as it was a very serious situation. I hate to burst the bubble of those of us, including myself, who want to badly see him play in the coming finals, but he's just been through a terrible painful ordeal. Jake needs time to rest and recuperate as his body had a shock, not the weight of heavy unrealistic expectations on his shoulders. His body is the tool of his trade and needs time to heal. I'm just grateful he came through this in reasonable time and shape."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli

Like everyone on here I just hope he recovers well. If he plays it's a bonus.
Wherever you go there seems to be someone on social media who has a "reliable" source in relation to Jake.
I'll wait to see what the club has to say as that is most reliable source in this matter.Originally posted by turk-283Kurt 79 - Kags 0..

My personal opinion is that I feel squeamish at the thought of him facing the likes of Manly, Souths or the Rorting Storm in pressure cooker finals. Losing the amount of blood that he did has taken a huge toll on his body and endurance levels and no-one has to be a medical genius to realise this."Those who care about you can hear you, even when you are quiet" - Steve Maraboli
