It was actually true as a friend of mine went to help.

Ok, here is some factual information which I just received:

Jake was sent home today after 3 blood transfusions and no-one expects to see him back on the field in the near future, nor should they, as it was a very serious situation. I hate to burst the bubble of those of us, including myself, who want to badly see him play in the coming finals, but he's just been through a terrible painful ordeal. Jake needs time to rest and recuperate as his body had a shock, not the weight of heavy unrealistic expectations on his shoulders. His body is the tool of his trade and needs time to heal. I'm just grateful he came through this in reasonable time and shape.

Not questioning your sources or having a go at you but why are people that are connected to the club suggesting he will play by week 3 of the finals?

Like everyone on here I just hope he recovers well. If he plays it's a bonus.

Wherever you go there seems to be someone on social media who has a "reliable" source in relation to Jake.

I'll wait to see what the club has to say as that is most reliable source in this matter.

unless its coming directly from the club or jake friends mouth i wont believe a word... ill continue to hope he recovers soon and hope to get some official announcement asap

Jake wants to play as soon as possible and they are waiting on medical clearance. That is a fact.
My personal opinion is that I feel squeamish at the thought of him facing the likes of Manly, Souths or the Rorting Storm in pressure cooker finals. Losing the amount of blood that he did has taken a huge toll on his body and endurance levels and no-one has to be a medical genius to realise this.

I really don't care if you believe me or not as you don't know me personally but many on here do and respect what I have to say. I don't tell lies nor do I misrepresent myself whether its in business, relationships or footy forums. Unlike some people I have met online and befriended, I am an authentic and genuine girl and pride myself on being so. Have a nice evening everybody and be happy and grateful Jake is home safely and on the mend. That is all that matters to me at the moment.

nothing against you.... your prob telling the truth.... but i still think we should hold off on opinions until there is something official announced.
