      NRL is only 'footy'.

Hopefully he has the best doctor available.
couldn't agree more, sounds like an incredibly scary situation.

        Yikes!

How long before we'll know anything?

Pearce will be on Triple M at 2:15pm, hopefully we'll hear an update about Jake.

Jake's just come out of the surgery but will be in the intensive care ward until further notice. So no plans for any more footy this year I'm afraid.

They actually don't know where a lot of the bleeding is coming from so he won't be playing at all.

                    Well, that's it, I'm afraid.

Filthy rabbits will finally have their Clayton's premiership.

                      At least he's alive!

Ha! Yeah, we'll get 'em next year (though it'll be hard without Mini and SBW)

All in all it was a very strange season. At no stage did I feel like we were playing the same quality of football that we played last year, yet with one round to go we were still in the running for the minor premiership. Every team went backwards this year except Parramatta and Penrith, so it was certainly there to be won.

Bookmakers have reacted and we're out to very long odds, now.

If he needs blood transfusions, healthy fans could give blood to make sure the blood bank doesn't run out.

Don't write us off just yet. A major loss, yes, but I was around when we won a premiership playing a debutante in a Grand Final following the loss of a star.

In 2015, Jake will captain the Roosters as we go back-to-back-to-back.
