    Jake lives alone?
With this injury now, that must change.

      What, lung bleeding?
      It's a wonder he's still here.

Much better injury detection/proper diagnosis needed for our players.

Perhaps you should move in with him?

              That's good.

He's in hospital in good hands...and his girlfriend will look after him when he comes home.

You don't know that. And Turkey - in particular - knows nothing.

Yeh that's my understanding of it from speaking to my Mum who's a doctor & reading articles on the net about it all day . The recovery is the easy part it's the surgery required where a lot can go wrong.

Hopefully we get some good news soon and he's out of the woods.

Get well Jake, all the best for a speedy recovery, it's only Footy.

                      Chook.

With all due respect to the medical professionals on here, including Dr Google, who are not currently treating Jake, my information comes directly from a family member. Not a mate of the next door neighbour's dog's psychiatrist.

All the best Friendy. Couldn't care less about our season when it comes to his health. I'm sure he will have a successful recovery and return to 100% in good time

Hoping for the best for Jakey, genuine nice guy and one of our best players.

As far as our season is concerned, best case we can hope for is a win in our first semi, a week off, and fingers crossed have Jakey back for the Prelim. Not getting too far ahead of myself, am I?

Pavlov perhaps? I'm not making light of Jake's situation and your cynicism is warranted.

As much as Jake will want to play this year the Roosters and Jake's family will put his health first. No one is irreplacable (admittedly in Jake's case sorely missed) but whoever comes in will play their role, everyone will still give 100% and most importantly Jake will be 100% healthy.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
