We got to the 2013 GF without Boyd and Luke, we can do it again. Jake wont miss a chance to repeat for anything.

Get well Jake, the ultimate competitor he just hustles so hard he doesn't deserve this, must have been scary for the young man I'm glad he's in good care.

      Thinking of ya brutha

Wish Jakey a speedy recovery but I Think winning the comp is harder now he is gone he is an extremely important player for us ..more so than SBW

Though it would be a devastating blow should Friendy be out for the season or any extended period of time, the most important thing is his health.

I'd rather him not be back this year if there is any risk of re-injuring or major complications.

Having said that, we desperately need him on the park!

although Friend cant be replaced we are classy enough to adapt to this situation....if we play at our best we beat any team in the comp with or without our full strength squad...we still have Pearcy...Jimmy...SBW...Jenko....Cordner etc...we still have quality all over so i cant see why we cant make the GF without friend...

Get well Jake. The team will miss you really badly but your health is of paramount importance.

Dunno what bookie you use mate but we're still $3.50 favourites with all the major bookmakers.

Even if Friend is confirmed out for the season it won't change our odds a great deal. So I'd say you're just making stuff up.

                        • He's a tough kid. I'll predict he'll miss one game.

As much as Jake will want to play this year the Roosters and Jake's family will put his health first. No one is irreplacable (admittedly in Jake's case sorely missed) but whoever comes in will play their role, everyone will still give 100% and most importantly Jake will be 100% healthy.
Very very well said. Well done!

                            • Hope the guy makes a quick and full recovery first and foremost.

I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of him this year... But I know the club won't risk his ongoing health either.
