the club recently came out with an injury update saying that FPN required scans this morning which doesn't sound great, no mention of Friend, if he did have a punctured lung he would have spent last night in hospital, would be hard to keep that under the radar.
According to twitter he has been admitted to hospital....
Hope it is bullsh*t otherwise **** ***** **** and ****
From Twitter 14 minutes ago "Potential blow for Roosters with Jake Friend admitted to hospital today with lung/rib issue after last night's win over Storm #NRL"
All the best Jake...wish you a speedy recovery and return to health football is secondary atm. Also be a good patient for your better half..
"There's a lot of people competing for title of dumbest chookpen member such as Tommy S, Rusty, Johnny, ROC, Tobin but without a doubt you are the worst, youre thick as a brick christ this is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time you should go back to supporting the panthers"
I just spoke to someone very close to Jake and its not BS. He's undergoing surgery as I type this. I can't and won't say too much more but please just have some good wishes and thoughts for our Friend. He's been in a lot of pain and distress since the early hours of this morning.

"Individuals who suffer from traumatic hemothorax will either require the placement of a chest tube or a thoracotomy. Either of these procedures will necessitate occupational, physical, and respiratory therapy. All therapies will begin in the hospital, with physical therapy and possibly occupational therapy continuing after discharge from the hospital 2 to 3 times a week for 6 weeks."
