    Isn't Dureau a kicker as well ?
wouldn't go astray having a backup for Maloney.

I have to admit that it would be AWESOME for a Hastings to be listed at the Roosters as a premiership winner.

Might remove a little of the injustice done to Kevin.

Dureau was awesome for Newtown. I reckon if he'd been there all season, they'd have finished top 4.

Saying that though, he's a halfback. I can't imagine why anyone would put him in the middle on Thursday to be trampled by the big souffs pack. Nor Hastings for that matter....surely Kara would be in front of both of them, at least he's a dummy half.

Aubs and Pepe Le Pew for me.

Playing ok at halfback in NSW cup level but cannot play hooker in the middle of the ruck because he cant tackle.

stranger was looking very good before he got injured, be a bit short of match fitness now though? id consider starting stranger with maubs as relief back up, gives us another big fwd on the bench to soak up the souffs fwds as maubs can back up for backline as well as hooker!

I get bashed up whenever I suggest this but I'd play:

                      9 Pearce
                      7 Maloney
                      6 SBW

                      For short term Jake absences.

                      Think it works.

I like your thinking outside the box. It boils down to Trust in Trent

Definitely not, Pearce's role in attack cannot be underestimated. Even when he isn't setting them up, he is still the most important player of our attack.

                            Yes absolutely brilliant!

Take our half back who has been argueably in career best form and put him in as hooker & play a back rower as 5/8th in a major end of season game???

I think it may be Aubbs/Hastings and then Aubbo/Stranger the next week.

It would be a massive gamble to blood Hastings at this time of the year.

Surely Maubs can play 80 minutes. He is a seasoned first grader.
