I'm in the minority but I'd like to see Maubs start and Hastings from the bench.

I notice Trent said that Stranger is ready to play. This could be a smokescreen to take the pressure off SoH.

We need speed and defence and smarts and experience = Dureau
All reports he has played real well for Newtown -we dont need to shuffle our firsts around just replace him with the most competant player available.
Where is Mort now that you need him? dumb move by easts -ordinary player yes but can tackle and has the agility and speed .

Maubs will play Hooker.. Robbo wont stray too far away from the current squad specially with the BIG games coming up...Maubs is amazing there but he will do the job...

Geez I'd be astounded if Hastings was selected at this time of year. What is he 18 ? untested at senior level. I know he is a half or FB ...has he ever played dummy half ?
Just can't see it happening, despite his name constantly thrown around here.

..and I thought Stranger was gone for the season ? Despite he being off the pace I think at the top level, if he is available, then I can see Trobbo going for him with Maubs for relief.

Maubs is good enough to fill in for a couple of weeks.

It's the precision passing that will kill us the most, maubs is ok, but some of the timing of his passes are way off and catch the forwards flat footed.

Stranger was initially ruled put for 4 or more weeks, hope he is fit enough to comeback early.

I'd like to see rts play a bit off dummy half, with maubs going to center and skd to the wing.

Maubs and Stranger will be in the 17, Heath was getting better each week until injured. It will do him good to get a run in a tough game before finals.

You do realise that a dummy half needs a strong passing game don't you??

Mitchell "Roy" Aubusson is a fine replacement at rake and I believe a superior option to Heath Le Strange as he is more willing to run from dummy half where as Heath stands and pass. Jackson Hastings, Kurt Kara and Scott Dureau are not first grade standard and should hopefully not see any first trade rugby league for us this season.

Yes, something that maubs doesn't have.
