I'm super confident heading into this game.

We're at our best again; which means that not only can the refs NOT stop us, but they make us stronger.

I also don't think that Souffs are foxing like we were last year heading into round 26. We genuinely looked disinterested vs the Sharks and Titans where as they've looked very disjointed this past 2 weeks.

Roosters 24-12, just like last year.

If anything the loss of Reynolds solves a selection problem for Madge.

Sutton and Keary are a legitimate 5/8th half combination, whereas Reynolds and Keary were both sevens.

I don't think they'll lose much at all.
As Lydon says Reynolds has the kicking game, in fact it could be argued it's only behind Crank and Thurstheads.

IMO Slutton is on borrowed time. I bet he makes way for Reynolds next week. He's the Bwaiff of that club.

7 and 6 are just numbers these days. We have two that play either/both roles. It's like 8 and 10 and 13 just numbers, roles are basically the same, the middle third thingy.

All good we can agree to disagree, it's only Souffs afterall.

      Easts to Win.

I'm sure our guys are shaking in their booties at the prospect of facing Keary's dummies. How scary!!!

The only thing Sutton will be doing is filling in holes for Supercoach players who have a missing 5/8th or second rower.

Sutton plays well when he runs straight. He's hard to handle.

I'd be playing Dylan Walker at 5/8th though. He's a talent.

I think the assignment is pretty simple for us. We need to keep the middle third under lock and key. That's a big ask without Friend and FPN, but here's hoping.

I'd say their losses are equal if not worse than ours.

On Friendlys defence in the middle I believe it's the one spot Maubs can match our hooker, defensively and his workrate in defence. For years now Maubs has topped the most effective tackler stats, percentage missed to made. And a lot of those were in one on one situations in the centres against some fleet footed 3/4s and FBs and back rowers.

In attack of course he isn't going to be as effective as Friendly. But he has impressed me with the speed in which he delivers the pass and even more so his running game from dummy 1/2 has been very effective. Kicking we will lack as Friendly has been awesome in that department for a few seasons now.

IMO they will suffer as much if not more from the loss of their 1/2 as we will our hooker. FPN and Teo probably cancel each other out.

No excuses we ain't coming from a position of weakness.

And Rusticle glad to see you've joined the parade, you nospraycanbuyingmofo. Don't forget you still owe, poo.

Reynolds out does us more damage than $ouff$ the guy is a myth and struggles under pressure. $utton coming in suits us though as he is rubbish, would never have played NRL for any other club.
Keary is the real deal and if we can bash him around it would be good. As much as it pains me it stems on how Burge$$ goes and how busted the prick is. Luke is a key to them as well. Ingli$ well it depends on whether he bothers or not, that is has his Tallis game (where he bothers to do something a couple of times in the game) or whether he has a real man's game and puts in like he did once this year against Manly.

Saying all that crap, in reality I would love to win round 26, it would crush the vermin, but I am not going to be fussed if we lose.

They play through the middle, we're missing our hooker.

We've had a highly disrupted 4-5 day turn around. They've had a week to prepare.

I think it will take some kind of effort to chalk up a win on Thursday.

The only consolation is that it might not be for the minor premiership.

Anyway, lets see how we go. Stranger things have happened.

                          Go Easts!
There is no reason why we won't beat them. We are in form they are not. Our halves are starting to gel and play like last years world beaters and their halves are at odds and ends. Sutton is back from a five week layoff and their best halve Reynolds has been suspended, they have replaced him with young Keary who will be playing his first NRL game at half. I think they are ripe for the picking. Their forwards lack a little sting without Teo and Sammy Burgess and GI are carrying niggling injuries into the game. There is no reason why we can't win.

The danger of Keary is how Burgearse runs on his inside waiting for the pass to score. He's starting to remind me of Justin beiber, acting a little tuff trying to establish himself. Hopefully he gets put in his place. maybe have Sam and JWH running at him all night just to tyre him out. As for Sutton, we'll I'm glad he's on instead of reynolds.

Am I the only one that rates Sutton?

                              But only as a 5/8.

On song he's a damaging player. But I don't expect much from him given he's coming back from a month layoff.

No plenty of souffs fans rate him too

I think he's slow and like Anasta was tipped to be a great 5/8 but Anasta had more success. Other than the Cows and dogs game, the Keary and Reynolds combo were very good. It could have been one of those things.
