Nigel Gaffey was one of our best players in the leaner years of the early 90s and then finally got to taste some finals footy with us in his second stint at Easts.

If memory serves me correctly, he played for us (and I could be wrong so please correct me if you have the stats) from 1992-1995. Then went to the South Queensland Crushers for a year or two, 96-97-ish, then came back for one or two final years at Easts after the Crushers went broke?

Canberra Raiders officials always rated him highly and the only reason they didn't keep him was that Brad Clyde had come through the ranks at the same time.

Always rated the Gaff!
