What is Steve Mortimer's issue with the defending premiers ? I first noticed his reluctance to tip them in 2013, but this year has been ridiculous.
In 24 matches in 2014, Mortimer has tipped the Roosters to win just 3 times. Since round 19, he has tipped against the Roosters each and every week.
Is it because a number of bulldogs players ventured across to Bondi in recent times ?
Whatever the reason, he has embarrassed himself.

I can understand Mortimer tipping the likes of Souths manly storm etc against the Roosters, but to tip the Gold Coast, tigers, dragons, to beat the roosters in the last 6 weeks is embarrassing.
Funnily enough, on 2/3 occasions, he tipped the roosters to win, they lost, v sharks, parramatta.

Reminds me of that bitter bulldogs prick Steve Price back in 2003. He was on the "NRL on Fox" preview panel for the 2003 season, and tipped the roosters to miss out on the top 8. When other commentators quizzed him in shock he said something like "they were lucky last season, I don't rate them".
