The club firstly doesn't choose who we play but you kind of contradict yourself. Why would we fear the Cowboys with the home ground advantage if we were to end up playing them. I most certainly would prefer to play them at Allianz than Penrith at ANZ. You have heard the term 'home ground advantage' before I gather.

Minor premiers should play on Sunday always had been that way for years.
And at home, week one of semis shouldn't matter, they have earned the the right for that advantage, weather they can fit 5k or 50k in their stadium.

just saw a message on twitter from the NRL confirming the 8 sides in the finals, then a message "fixtures to be advised"

doesn't sound like they are going to announce it tonight, which is a shambles as tickets go on sale to members tomorrow morning.

I don't understand those making commercial decisions at the NRL, why not play the Storm vs Bulldogs match in Melbourne on sunday when they don't have to compete with the AFL finals.

the cowboys final needs to be Saturday night because of fans travelling and possible heat issues in Townsville.

maybe our match should be the 6pm match on Saturday night at Allianz, it makes the most sense after channel 9 won't budge with the Manly vs Vermin match on Friday night.
