Souffs are playing on Friday night and we are playing the Sunday afternoon game.

Confirmed by 2GB who spoke with channel 9.

Here is the dilemma:

Only 1 game can be played in the NRL at Allianz stadium this coming weekend and the NRL doesn't want the Souffs V Manly match at Brook Vale. However they don't want it at ANZ Stadium as it is meant to be a Manly home ground so they are thinking of playing it at Allianz which would than leave us without a home ground for Sunday!

I hope that the NRL uses common sense and plays Friday at Brookvale and Sunday at Allianz.

Manly finishing second gets a home game...5 plays 6 and 7 plays 8 on Sat night, likely out of town...and the Roosters will likely play the 4th place team at ANZ stadium on Sun afternoon...as one game has to be played at ANZ stadium."

So, Roosters fans, looks like we could be 'dudded'/'ripped off' again...and be playing at ANZ instead of at Allianz.
Time to scream at the NRL...NOW...before the decision is made and set in stone.

The Manly v Souths game should be punted out to Brookvale...Manly's home ground.
Manly finished second...why should Manly have to play at Allianz as their home game...with the joint awash with Souths supporters, basically then a Souths home game?
Melb gets to play at AAMI Park...Cowboys get to play at their home game.

If our Club officials don't know about our game likely to now be at ANZ...didn't Greenberg assure Brian Canavan we'd be playing at Allianz?...then anyone here who knows them should really tell them, sooner rather than later.

I fully expected channel 9 to screw us over and pick the vermin vs manly game on Friday night, but if we are shunted to sunday arvo at ANZ stadium it is a disgrace, when you finish minor premiers you are entitled to a home final and the more favourable draw to ensure most recovery time week on week.

if the worst was to happen and we lost on sunday we could be forced into a 5 day turnaround where the team we play finished below us and they would have 6 days to prepare.

our club needs to stand up to this, if it means manly play the vermin at ANZ on Friday night I couldn't care less, but we must play on Saturday at Allianz we have earned the right to this.
