  • sounds like we are fighting Napa's charge not grading

Gasnier was just saying on foxsports that he had talked to Robbo and it looks like we are going to try and get Napa off the charge completely rather than contest the grading.

if its true its very much an all or nothing strategy, I think they might have more chance of getting a downgrade rather than getting off completely.

You also had us all convinced we'd be playing at Homebush. So with all respect Fletch your credibility is not high at the moment.

Robbo confirmed it today in a pretty honest interview. He said he was disappointed in Guerra's tackle and was adamant we never coach to do that (obviously, we're not Souffs).

I reckon Napa won't get off it completely but it has to be downgraded.

        Lol relax, Ox.

I fail to see what that has to do with this thread.

I for one love Fletch's passion for the rwb. He was just concerned that we'd get shafted in the finals draw by the NRL like myself.

It is indeed a brave move if so. I reckon a downgrade is almost a certainty.

I suspect we're playing on the absurdity of what would be a blanket finals ban for the worlds most innocuous shoulder charge.

Oh I'm completely relaxed Tommy thanks.

I think Fletch is the one who needs the chill pill with all his hysteria about venues and suspensions.

They might think they have a good chance with the Matai tackle setting a precedence.

thanks for the link for the interview, pure class Robbo, always honest with his thoughts, the only other thing not mentioned is he did say he expected to be without FPN as well as Guerra so he needs to find someone else to fill the role at lock.

There was nothing in it, complete overreaction.

Expect Evans to be called up.
Liu can fill the lock position.
My smokey is Vincent Leilua onto the bench.

I would normally agree on Leilua as the smokey; but I find it hard to believe that we'd go into a finals game we've a rookie and a second gamer.

I'm not sure what the alternatives are; but that would be a surprise to me to see Hastings AND Leilua on the bench.

that's an interesting thought Gman, he has been 18th man a few times recently, I just thought the likely replacement would have been Meehan given his exposure to both first grade and NSW cup.

either way Cordner and SBW are going to have to log long minutes this weekend.

The other alternative is Rhyse Martin but like Vincent he hasn't tasted NRL neither. Samisoni Langi is recovering from a leg injury.

I would expect L'Estrange to come back in for Hastings if fit.
