will be interesting to see if we try an appeal this decision as an error in law, his actions do not correspond with the written NRL definition of a shoulder charge, it goes completely against the incidents with Matai/Williams.

who would we appeal this to ? We had no hope of getting him off he was guilty and done before he walked in

Sounds like they'd made up there mind that he was guilty before they even went in.

Is anyone surprised at this? He's a Rooster... guilty before he walked in the building.

Imagine if it was Sam Burgess.

there is a different panel for appeals, you can only get an appeal hearing if there is new evidence revealed or an error in law, if they didn't charge Matai/Williams because apparently there was separation of their arms from their body, Napa's tackle was no different, his arm/elbow weren't tucked into his side in the true definition of a shoulder charge.

the problem Napa has now though, is because he didn't plead guilty and try and get a downgrade he doesn't get the benefit from an early guilty plea, meaning best case scenario is now going to be 2 weeks instead of 1.

Dumb, he is likely to get a downgrade but now he can't get any better than 2 weeks.

2 weeks would be a good outcome given the HATE

Issac Luke was also exonerated before he even walked into the building, too.

They'll try everything within their power to stop us going B2B this year. They would hate for it to happen.

And they'll fail like they did last year. If anything this will just fire up the boys even more. The old siege mentality. Us against the rest. Bring on the hate i say.

                      EASTS TO WIN!

its curious that it is taking as long to decide on the downgrade as it did to find him guilty.

So if we went for the downgrade straight away would he have got away with a week?

hate to say it but the club looks to have made a tactical error tonight, had they plead guilty and gone for the downgrade Dylan would have only missed 1 match, now he has to cross his fingers and hope we make it to the GF.
