Yep, mini was saying he didn't want to go to hospital, luckily his girlfriend forced him too. Mini said 2hrs longer and he wouldn't have been here today.

Lucky man.
I was thinking he wouldnt play again this year.
Gee wiz I hope he is ok, he is too good a player and bloke to risk.
On Sunday Footy Show Mini was questioned whether Friend would play next week. Mini's response was, "No, he is still a little bit away. He hasn't even had a run yet. He is still getting some tests to see if his levels have reached normal"
Whether or not he has healed in time has nothing to do with toughness. He is either recovered and coming back when he should or he is trying to do something stupid. Toughness doesn't stop internal bleeding.
If he is right, then let him play, if he is trying to come back early, then knock him back. No reason to risk him reinjuring himself when we have the team to beat Penrith as is. The important thing is his health, and to have him back for the sudden death games

I wouldn't risk him, and since we have two bites at the cherry, and a win over the Panthers will give him 2 weeks to fully recover and come back better than ever.
