He lived next door to one of my mates in Camden back in the day. Can't say I 'know' him but I met him on a couple of occasions as a kid (played some touch footy)... VERY switched on and passionate about his footy. Playing touch in the park he was a tactical kinda guy who could always join the crap team and give them the tactics to win the game.

Robbo is really, really sharp.

In the Nuke game, he had another look when the Nuke winger picked the ball up over the dead ball line before it bounced over the dead ball line. Apparantly this is the same as if he carried it over the DB line, hence a drop out not a 22m restart. Robbo was right, refs were wrong.

Then in the last game, he mentioned that Toups only passed the ball to Souffs player because he called out his name. Apparantly this is illegal(?). I had no idea about this. Looks like refs had no idea either.

He really is smart.

I wish they would let him ref the games too..

Robbo is a roosters legend already. Robbo will be an immortal by the time he retires. I hope he is here for the next 2 decades

Robbo seems very calm - compare him to Bellyache, Toovey or Hasler). I am sure he gets angry but keeps it behind closed doors with the players.

He takes his time when he responds to questions - an excellent thinker and a real asset to our club. He is the type of coach that will attract and keep players for less money that they can earn at other clubs

Good...and well deserved...wouldn't want to lose him.

Back to back Minor Premierships and the Premiership win last season, in his first two years coaching in the NRL.
