A couple of my mates in the UK have remarked on the fact that they're always trying to plug some crap that might be on later, rather than concentrating on the game.

All the channel 9 commentators except Freddy were disgusted with the knock-on call against Lui. In contrast to the Foxtel commentary where Brandy said "no doubt it was a knock-on", following up by Warren Smith saying "absolutely".

Nine commentators are clueless. Gordy with his conspiracy theories, along with Joey Johns throwing his mouthguard out one more time are pathetic.

I'm disgusted by the lack of respect we receive. We are the reining premiers and there was clearly a knock on by Lui before the Thurston NO try, yet channel nine commentary go on like it was a travesty. These ****ing pricks influence all the dumb watchers and you get a million people saying were cheats and don't deserve to win. Watch the game with fox sports team and you get a precise decision straight away instead of what channel 9 wanted to see. A CLEAR KNOCK ON. **** your self Gould Rabs and Co.

The funny thing, from what i've heard and seen all commentators and reporters other than Gould and Johns called it a knock on. I bet when they realise how stupid they sound and how wrong they were they will do a turnaround and try somehow to justify there comments.

Gus commentates through his back pocket, he is a chronic gambler and I have been told that he took the job at Penrith because he needed the money to pay gambling debts as he was on the verge of losing his house. What gets me is the way he bags out the use of the video ref but doesn't understand that in the case of the Thurston no try, if the video ref did not exist, the on field ref would have ruled no try anyway.

Yes. And unlike ch9 they call it as it is, not how think it should be. Fair & unbiased, again unlike ch9 commentators.

which will make it enjoyable viewing at least to an extent as otherwise I would probably throw something through the tv. I just cannot cop the 9 commentary, it is just so unprofessional.
