That is exactly what the consensus was of the Footy Show panel members on this morning's show.

Hadley or Sterling. I know who I believe.

Do we have a rule book?
Wonder what the text in the rule...in the rule book... states...'scored' or 'awarded'.

We might have broken a rule ... depending on what the relative rule states.

If this happens in the GF...the trophy might not be awarded to the 'Premiers', whoever they might be, until next July, when the court case might be over.

            Exactly
It's only a try when the ref points to the spot.
He may think it, but Hadley is not always right !

I agree with Andrew Walker the Roosters used a loophole, I don't think they broke any rule that was in effect.

Hadley said today that "they made a new rule last Sunday, that para; "to allow for the video ref system...if a player is off the field when another player scores a try, and that try is subject to review by the video ref, the player off the field may come back onto the field and then kick for goal after the video ref's decision has been made and if the try is awarded."

He didn't seem too happy that his idea of what the rule was ... has now been changed/clarified to what is now.

Yes I'd hate to think there were any changes to rule or policy interpretations without him spitting on the paperwork first.

Hadley said it so it must me ok. So long as Jonesy agrees too or all hell will break out.
