I think he has mastered the art. So long as he's calm, says that we lost because we played poorly and doesn't make any BS conspiracy claims then he seems to be okay.

All he said was that he didn't think the refs were good because they wrongfully disallowed a try and allowed a large number of stoppages.

IMO there's ways of saying 'the refs were shit' without getting fined and Robbo is a master of the art. It helps us too because he has a balanced head, and says all that needs to be said without whinging.

Yeah patting a guy on the head during a game? It's a bit cocky when you're losing, but WTF do we have this view that as captain of Australia Smith deserves respect? If anything it means he's used to taking it and should be held to the highest standard because he knows better than to whinge...etc.

IMO the Storm, QLD and Australia have been winning most of their games for years. The only thing Smith isn't used to is losing and being laughed at. On the rare occasions where he's getting smashed, teasing him/getting under his skin is only fair!!

I know he didn't complain, but harden the fark up son!! It's a common tactic for people to try and get under the skin of players. IMO it's a great tactics and adds to the spirit of the game. Nothing better than seeing the opposition get worked up/have brain snaps.
