SBW was a try Liu knock on all good.. Gus is a faarkwit!
Doesn't matter which way Lui is facing the ball was propelled forward off his forearm so its knocked on, pure bad luck but a knock on none the less.
Comparing it to what happened last year is pointless.
If they want to bitch consider this: had the refs not farkedup Castys try last week they should have faced the Panthers Tonight.
Gus hates the video ref, but it was the touchie that called Lui's knockon. So even without the vid ref it would have been called back.
Can't have it both ways Gus.
All you guys spewing about the nine poofs whining - just enjoy how much they are suffering now that roosters live on; particularly Tallis and Gould - they will be absolutely spewing. I doubt they'll sleep tonight they'll be so devastated the fairy tale comeback was ruined.
The guys on the radio all adamant it went forward ... both GB and ABC.
John's, Tallis and Gus were calling it backward, though Lockyer begrudgingly said he thought it went forward.
Joey must have a crush on JT, he was going on about all the dud decisions that went against the Cows ....... puhlease !
I'm now sure that Wally Lewis is dead set the worst commentator god has put breath into. He is atrocious and diabolically one eyed. All the Roosters tries were luck....pffft! Tupou's two tries were great play, Maloney's off the back of terrific go forward and momentum. Mini gifted the Cows two tries, they scored another off the back of a forward pass and Thurston's try came on the third repeat set on our line. Cowboys were excellent tonight. With 15 to go they had only 2 incomplete sets. That's an amazing stat. They would have beaten a lot of teams tonight

Great post. Yes, easy to forget how effective cows were and attribute all of their comeback to our hopelessness - not what happened. Very tough in the end to hang on.

Don't know if anyone else noticed this or I imagined from the ultra-high vistas of the members' stand.
In regard to the Cows' no-try ruling at the end. Shayne Hayne calls out knock-on but doesn't blow the whistle immediately, the Cows play on anyway and touch down in the in-goal. Hayne barely moves from the spot where the knock-on occurred.
Cows players are screaming for him to go upstairs, Roosters players are imploring to him there was a knock-on. Hayne looks at the touchie and puts his whistle up to his mouth to rule knock-on, then has a second thought. He then runs a few metres towards the in-goal... then changes his mind again and runs back to the spot where he knock-on happened.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I could then see Badger pointing to the in-goal and yelling something out quite loudly to Hayne. I got the impression Hayne had all but made up his mind to rule a knock-on, backed up by the touchie, but Badger's hectoring gave him one last second thought... a third thought in fact...
And finally Hayne somewhat reluctantly runs into the in-goal to refer it to the corrupt, crooked clowns in the box.
Luckily sanity prevailed (as it had not done on two previous occasions the decision had been referred to the vidiots). But I just got the impression Hayne was very confident it was a knock-on until Badger started hectoring him to get it looked at...
We all know Badger loves Easts though so I suppose none of this could be true.
well stuff the lot of them we've got a short week to get into their heads get confidence back up ensure Napa is fit for the bench Jake now has a weeks game fitness, at least we obviously trained a field goal last week? better to win by one than los3e by one., its a long cold walk over moore park with the lose by one! so watch the media death ride us this week! good
Badger was yelling at him to check it, Both Hayne and the touchie were calling it a knock on
Actually according to Robbo, Badger called knock on straight away but then said to check it, which i suppose was fair enough, considering it was a decision to decide the game. Fortunately they got the call right.
