  • On field TRY video No Try

We are the only team in the competition who regularly have the onfield referee overruled when the decision goes up stairs.
The rule is that there must be proof a try awarded Try by the referee is in fact not a try.
Where was that proof in SBWs effort tonight?

Absolutely no proof at all. I have my doubts about the grounding, but there was no evidence to overturn the decision.

Yep. But they came up with the correct decision on the bell thank god.

For the record, there was a cowboys hand on the ball for the SBW penalty - correct decision.

Cows got their share of wrong calls in their favour and, in spite of their comeback, failed to win with more than 50% possession. Close, but see you next year. Whinge all you want.

The nine team were so blatantly cheering against us that I take great pleasure from the agony they must be suffering right now. I hope it lasts for days.

Wrong call by on field ref but with no clear evidence to overturn the ruling, it should of been a try.

Interestingly, in Rupert Murdoch's unbiased article on the game - headlined "Cowboys Robbed for Third Straight Year" - the Nine commentators were described thus:

"Thurston appeared to score the winner but referee Gavin Badger bizarrely called a knock on to Robert Lui in the lead up play that nobody, not even the parochial Roosters commentators could understand."

30-0, if we are complaining about something that happened at 30 all, we are kidding ourselves.

Ha ha ha - that is classic Spirit. I am really enjoying how much these fuccers are suffering.

I was listening to the ABC driving home from work when it happened - David Morrow and all of his co commentators agreed a no brainer knock on.

But we must all agree - had the refs wanted us gone they could very easily have ignored that knock on and we would be gonski. So I salute their impartiality in this case.

Shayne Hayne is the most impartial of all the whistle-blowers. How Mini being tackled in the air was not a penalty is beyond me though. The cowboys got their roll-on from that.

Wow, just wow. If that's parochial, I'd like to hear them if they weren't.

                      Spot on BM and Spirit.
To the OP, I've also noticed that this does seem to happen a fair bit to the Roosters.

I feel the same, but the pass to SBW to Pearce was miles forward
