Then to finish off "I can't help to think that the better team lost" WTF.
Tallis realy shitted me with his post interviews trying to get Thurston and the coach to say something sensationalised about that last try.

And you think a CEO of a media business should have the right to dictate their own personal agenda? I'm glad Gyngell doesn't get involved.

At least Darren Lockyer begrudgingly admitted he thought it went forward in the aftermath summary.

Funny thing ...last week the cowboys got a lucky knock on rule in their favour at a crucial time of the game when Hodges knocked the ball back ...no complaints from them. This week a correct call goes against them ... and its poor JT / conspiracy theory / gods against them etc etc

You miss the point he is CEO and his Organisation is performing badly due to the tactics used by his employees , in the real world of commerce any successful CEO would step in and make changes.

Gyngell plays both sides with his tabloid TV station - Mitch Pearce will verify that.

Yep. I will be cheering Manly tonight. As much as I hate the Manly f*ckers, a Roosters vs Manly grand final would be the most hurtful for all the cry babies.

No i didn't miss the point as Vasco is saying that Murdoch interferes with his media companies so they don't criticise Abbott. Does Vasco, and i'm not picking on him but trying to respond to yours GF, does vasco feel that the Nine commentary should't be critical of any Roosters players JUST because Gyngell is involved in the club?

You read other forums and see how other fans interpret the commentary and they all feel that they are hard done by the commentary and the beneficiaries are the roosters, souths, manly, in fact any teams but theirs. People are staying away from the game because of the live broadcast and bad refereeing decisions. In fact, on Triple M they just said that AFL gets a bigger crowd on ground but not much on TV ratings where NRL gets 6 times more viewers.

Gyngell is not involved with the club - he is a ex board member

He doesn't have to interfere. They wouldn't be News Limited journalists if they didn't believe in the Liberal agenda.

Fair enuff...so the point to all of this is that whomever would like to the Nine commentators not to be too critical of the Roosters players or show any bias against them, right...? And Vasco said that Gyngell should do like Murdoch does at the Tele or worse at Fox News? If Gyngell has no formal connection with the team, or even a s a fan, why should he interfere to stop the commentators from saying anything that may be deemed that it goes against our club?

Gus had made an absolute fool out himself this finals series in back to back games.

I used to defend the bloke strongly but I genuinely don't know what to say anymore.

                            I'm exactly the same.

I used to be a big fan of Gus. But this season he's officially lost the plot.

First the hysteria over the blatant knock on in the Storm game last week, and now the knock on last night... for Gus to want to overlook them because "WOW! That was amazing!"

                            What a massive tool.

Fact: they still have to sit in their kennels, watch us play & make comment to earn their keep

We are still alive in the comp & that's punishment enough for those pontificating wankers

Phil Gould last nite was a disgrace.
Wally Lewis lives off his immortality . As a commentator he is horse shit
Lockyer was as bias as Lewis.
