I'm not sure what your ethnic bg is but if you were of middle eastern and an honest hardworking person who loves his team, this time the Roosters, and it happened that some policeman/woman was aggressively questioning you about something you're carrying, would you not only feel somewhat angry of being profiled as a possible terrorist? Please don't tell me the police aren't aggressive because I have seen them at times being excessive in their use of force. Anyway, to say that 'I'm ok about those that look like terrorists, but aren't, to have to suffer the humiliation of being singled out in public.' Like said, it's a fine line. It could even cause more problems.

Good question ROC. In the end a lot comes down to the ability of the Police who handle it. And like in any line of employment you have your good and bad. I found that if you treat people decently and explain why you are doing what you are doing, the vast majority accept it. Not always though.

As I said in my earlier post, a lot comes down to the conmon sense and intelligence of the Police handling it. Most will do a good job and listen to what those witnesses you refer to have to say.

Others......., well I did say I came across some real belters in my 20 yrs.
