Watching that 2000 Knights semi made me ponder what were the three most enjoyable matches I have seen as an Easts fan. Surprisingly, they are all in recent memory and none of them are grand finals. There were other great games (especially in the early-80's, 1987 and the Gould years) but none come close to these. I remember almost passing out at all three.

In order:

1. Major Semi v Knights in 2000.

2. Major Semi v Bulldogs in 2003.

3. Semi v Tigers in 2010.

Ah, the memories.

that 03 semi was brutal what a game, I remb the bottles coming from the top tier after we sent them packing!

One of the great games, even in the first 80 mins it had it all but that last 20 was amazing footy.

2. Battle for the MP 13/14

The 2013 game was much better but beating souffs for the MP two years in a row is just too good.

I don't know how I watched the full game, biggest farce of a referring performance ever.

2. Sharks 2014

Never been so dissapointed in the boys.

3. Gold Coast 2009

I remember thinking we we're finally going to win a game, only for Chris ****ing Walker to score a bullshit try on the siren.
