I spray it with fancy french lavender linen water as well... Because I'm not part of the great unwashed..

I understand that ANZ Stadium is already crawling with Vermin fans preparing for their finest hour. A veritable sea of red and green sputum.

Very few Roosters fans there yet. They have jobs.

This is it - the famous Norman Mailer quote in describing Muhammad Ali's thinking after the 1st round against George Foreman. Ali did it we can do it.

Who could forget the first set against the Dogs in 2003. Brent Sherwin's clearing kick was from 7m out.

Our forwards declared war that day.

They will need to do the same tonight.

                  Easts to win.
Im the same mate. I want to be confident but I know we are playing a bloody potent football side on their day.
I have no doubt we can win. I just know that to do so we are going to have to be disciplined and at our best. No piggy back penalties.

Too be honest if we dont get up tonight I would prefer that than to lose to Souths in a GF.

Lets hope we are at our best tonight, because if we are nobody can beat us, including Souths.

If we do happen to lose (shudder to think) it will be amusing watching this place go into a nuclear meltdown.

I'd like to think we'd raise above that and celebrate our 12 months as Premiers

Others have said that if we play to near our best, and for 80 minutes, that we will win. I agree. We are the better paper team.

What evidence have you seen this year, that we will play for 80 tonight? I am in no way confident that we will see 80 quality minutes from the Chooks, due to this a great deal depends on the rotation, and the bench.

I can barely conceive a future where I am constantly reminded of a loss in a prelim final by the various vermin fans I grudgingly associate with. So tonight I want the field stained red,.... no,...cardinal with vermin stain.

                            GO EASTS!!

We will win it in the middle. Roosters by 4.

I must say I'm really impressed with the amount of Easts fans I saw on my bus trip home from Martin Place to Dover Heights..Roosters here, Roosters there..Roosters bloody everywhere! Only saw 2 Vermin, not including the charming construction worker who abused me this morning, one driving a car with a flag on Elizabeth Street and another coming out of the IGA in Rose Bay..I'm calling the health department on that one..
