Luke needs to miss the GF

Up until yesterday I thought they would find a way to let Luke off Then I saw a replay of the tackle and commented on here yesterday saying there is no defence for the tackle To be honest Im still a bit confused how this was only catetegorised a grade 1 offence It was a poor tackle and it warranted a suspension

Too many of you in here think the NRL will do everything in their power to make Souffs win. Then what is this? Hell, the conspiracy theorists will probably say now that the NRL are helping Souffs because they believe his replacement is a better fit for the team against the Dogs

The Match Review Committe and referees are different departments. You will find that the referees department controls outcomes of games. They decide who gets 50/50 calls and when a team needs to get penalties to get out of trouble and back to back penalties to keep them in touch with the better team. Just count them on Sunday especially if the Dogs are up 12-0.

Am I the only one that wont be watching the GF? I couldnt give a damn. I hate both teams so it will kill me equally to see one of them win. I have no interest in it at all. Once Easts are gone my season is over.

It's got nothing to do with the rules, which by the way i understand them very well. The point is there were many on here saying that Luke would get off and he didn't. He was given no preferential treatment which puts a massive whole in some of the conspiracies that have been floated on here over the last few days.

I'm not so sure of this. There is alot of GF experience in the Bullgrubs side, from the coach down, (they did make the GF only 2 years ago) where as souffs have very little experience, that and with all the hype over there 1st GF in 43 years and now the Luke distraction i'm starting to think the bullgrubs might actually win.

Normally I will still find some interest in a grand final, but not this one. I have a pathological dislike of all things Souths so I will find it hard to cheer them on. I also have an intense dislike for Josh Reynolds and Michael Ennis. I also think it will be laughable if the Dogs win the GF because they haven't been close to being the best team this year. Their final position on the ladder tells everything about their performance throughout the season.

So what I'm considering doing on Sunday is watching the Q Cup/NSW Cup game, then the 20's GF. I will then put on a replay of last years GF and sit back and reminisce

Fark Luke, no mercy. Why, for the fundamental reason that before the season kicked-off they were the rules (past the horizontal, placing into a dangerous pos etc...) that applied to ALL player irrespective, including the final series.
Too many including current & former players and respected commentators tried to go the sympathetic & sentimental approach.
The judiciary on the other hand got this one right. They have enforced the rule & sent out the right message.
