It's not complicated, people hate seeing cheats win.
When so many games are won on the back of players taking dives & milking penalties, nobody will want to watch it.
I won't watch a game with Manly, the bulldogs or Souths in it if the roosters aren't playing them because these 3 teams are the worst culprits.
I was so proud when I read the article a week ago about Robbo standing up & saying we won't do it. We've won 2 minor premierships & fell one win short of a chance to go back to back with the only team in the comp that doesn't lay down. We could've stayed down & got a dozen more penalties tonight & as much as I wanted to win that game I'm still proud of our guys for sticking to Robbos mantra.
I follow the right team, win, lose or draw. We set the standard.
