obviously extremely disappointed with the result tonight, but unfortunately we stamped our own card with the 3 errors against the Panthers in that last 7 minutes.

    - the Maloney missed field goal
    - Mini not covering the kick that led to the Panthers equalising try
    - Jennings knock on that led to the Soward field goal

if any of these things hadn't happened we would have stayed on the weaker side of the draw and would have had an arm chair ride to the GF.

    100% agree.

That awful ending to the game cost us.

No offence to Penrith, but they're an average side.

And by losing to them we were gassed in the next two matches. After a big run home with 6 wins on the bounce we needed the week off.

Instead we dropped the ball and lost our title in the process.

That still doesn't win us the competition. Could be worse and we lose a grand final under the same circumstances against South Sydney.

The Riff game is long gone, 12-0 up tonight the ball was in our court

Could we have had a better start?

Like I said at the time, it was fatal and would catch up to us - didn't deserve to win the premiership after that performance either.

Yeap, goddamn these two are rubbish, so complacent in the first week of the finals.

Watching Penrith tonight just reinforces what a monumental screw up that was losing to them. Jesus. What a bog average side and dogs no better.

Our team would not have defeated the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the grand final abtway. We had our chance and did not take it.

If we'd had the week off and then played someone from the easy side of the draw in the prelim we would have stood a much better chance of beating souths in the gf, no doubt about that.

We really did blow it, Penrith were awful tonight and the Dogs just relied on a gutsy effort

Could Souths blow it next week, if they do it would be epic!

god the bulldogs are awful, we mightn't have beaten the vermin but boy did we throw away an opportunity by not beating Penrith.

I have said it before and I will say it again. Our season was a disgrace. They should be ashamed.

Our 2015 campaign should start tonight. Our boyz should feel like they let a great chance pass

                              Our supporters certainly do.

But supporters always care more than players.
