We will have basically the same side next season plus the addition of Ferguson. We will be much stronger.

It is a real blight on the game and the NRL are ignoring it. Tonight it was ridiculous.

There are no trophies awarded to the nice guys.

But I agree that it is a blight on the game. Penalties have become too much of an advantage.

Last year we only lost a reserve player and we were nowhere near as good. This year we will lose arguably our best defensive player in sonny and a 300 gamer, replaced by a 5 good match a year player, with the possibility of hooking pearce, cordner and friend back to the sydney lifestyle.

SBW was just an average player this year. It's like we already lost him.

Mini is no loss. That's a bonus.

Pearce and Cordner are already hooked back into the lifestyle.

Fergo will give us some much needed attack.

Sonny is irreplaceable, like someone pointed out, when sonny is on the field, 2-3 players are drawn to him regardless of him having the ball or not, his defence v the cows was probably the only reason we beat them.

I would take an avg sonny over any of our leftover 2nd rowers.

But without him and mini, our game plan will obviously change, for better or for worse.

Sonny definitely is irreplaceable. We found that out this season.

JT, I think we all agree that Sonny performed below his 2013 efforts.

I still think he had a good year. Rarely missed a tackle and his work rate was as good as any. I'm sure he ranked in the top 2 or 3 for offloads.

Like the rest of them, he probably didn't have that desire that drove them to win in 2013.

I do recall you labelling Freddy as "shiitler" back in the day. This was one of the best players to play the game.

Players can't just go out and carve every time they take the field.

It's first grade, not park footy at Waverley Oval.

Freddy deserved that name in 2001. He has admitted as much in his book.

I guess it all comes down to motivation.

That changed quickly once Gould returned.

JT I enjoy reading your posts my fear about having basically the same team as the past two years is that if our coach employs the same training drills and instils the same game plans of the past two seasons the 2015 will be a tough year. we really lack speed and aggression in our forwards and JWH needs to stay off the KFC

Luke O'Donnell was a bigger loss than many people have given credit for and is a large reason I believe why the team was not as dominant in this season as they were last season.

It will be interesting to see what we can come up with. At the moment I am struggling to muster any enthusiasm.

I think we will lose half a dozen players at the end of 2015 so hopefully we can have a good crack at it next season.

He was a loss but was it was more or less overcome when Napa was starting and Moa went to the bench.
