Moa did the same thing and I thought he would get pinged but it was play on.

The most disapointing thing about that inglis try, was how our whole team just stopped and watched it happen, if you talk about hunger, there was zero of it showed there.

      NRL is not sport anymore
      It's Sport Entertainment.
There is not a level playing field.

Personally the fact that they get away with this sort of stitch up, for me is the darkest day in Australian Sport.

Quite simply, we were not competing on a level playing field.

On the subject of Channel 9, I can only assume Mr Gyngell is too honest for Easts' own good, and has instructed his TV producers and commentators to under no circumstances demonstrate anything that could be perceived as bias - real or imagined - towards Easts.

Nice work in theory, just as Robbo's "we don't lie down" edict is nice, in theory.

However, as they say, nice guys finish last. Look at the grubby side that beat us tonight. And the two grubby sides playing for a spot in the GF tomorrow against souffs. Look at the grubby referees as well.

Look at My Gyngell's niceness on his network where his callers are 1000% cheering against Easts relentlessly. And look at the biggest piece of scum in the world, Rupert Murdoch, and recall how many times teams he owned won the premiership when he also owned the entire NRL competition (well 50% ownership to be precise but 100% control over its operations and referees).

Niceness and integrity gets you nowhere in Rugby League it would seem.

I think we fans are naive and the game has descended long ago into an organised crime den of corruption with refs on the take and maybe a lot of players too. It's all about getting 'close games', golden points if possible. The refs have way too much control and I'd say they're as corrupt as hell and have bookies riding them and are collecting big time on swaying games.
          Amen brother.

            More like dribble, brother.

I've no doubt the NRL were ecstatic Souths won tonight. They don't want b2b champions.

And I've no doubt the referees have an agenda against us. The statistics render this claim indisputable.

But I don't believe there's some sort of grand scheme in place. That's just silly. It's more a subconscious desire to see "the tall poppy" fail and the battler succeed.

So are you saying that if souths win the grand final this year, the nrl wont want them winning it next year?

The decisions went both ways especially in the first 20 minutes, we got our lions share that could of seen us skip out to a 18 nil lead. I'm talking about the Maloney interference with Inglis when competing for a bomb. We were 12 nil up and Inglis was clearly interfered with by Maloney who just took him out causing a knock on. The Souths players were screaming at ref in protest to delay the game but Channel nine didn't replay the incident and the scrum packed down with a Roosters ball and scrum feed.

Should never of happened, Keary was 2 mtrs offside and lost the ball forward into MIni, they scored from that set

Trust Gyngell as far as you could throw him. He is no board member and he got his network to use Mitch Pearce in having himself removed from the fronf page after the Packer street fight incident.he ain't no nice guy with niceness or integrity. Take the blinkers off.
