Tommy was right after the Sharks game. We should have jumped off the bandwagon and it wouldn't hurt so bad now. As Gus said we are the only team who can win with 45% of the ball and always on the wrong end of a penalty count. No team would get close if everybody was 100% committed all year. The biggest opportunity lost in our history imo.

If the NRL replaced the game managers with refs, we'd be apples.

Probably, although 1981 springs to mind as well.

          That's pretty awesome.

            This season was genuinely painful.

I think I need a break from NRL.

Discretionary penalties lead to points, so the games are completely unpredictable.

All very true Tommy,it has been a frustrating year, considering the playing strength of the team, but as the good old saying goes there is always next season. Enjoy your off season, and we'll do battle again next year, lol.

There is no doubt we were penalised out of contention.

They tried in 2013 but our determination was able to overcome this. An amazing achievement when you think about it.

It will only ease slightly in 2015.

Parra and Tigers will get all the favours next season. With Western Sydney Wanderers making so many inroads the NRL will need this part of town doing well.

We shouldn't have been surprised that we lost to Souffs due to penalties and 50/50 calls. They have been getting it all for three seasons - and we have been getting the pineapple for a decade.

Tommy would own a tent but I doubt he'd be able to put it up without some help...

That would require a row of tents?
