We will see a completely different attacking structure next year imo.Sheck plays a different style of footy than Mini did.Expect to see a lot of him in the back line trying to get furgo and MJ outside the opposition centers. And he will. What a back line we have next year on paper its the best i have seen the club field in 40 years. With jt gone the next attacking coach might have some new ideas as well.I hope it is Potter he is a good coach that has been shafted by a shambolic club.Like i said in another thread fix the forwards and we will bring home the silverware.Evans and Meehans inclusion will go a long way to doing that.I thought Cordner was really disappointing this year given his potential,Aiden was far better.Frank Paul needs to go.Napa was good and is coming along nicely.Merrin would fit in nicely imo.

Next year we will be fresher (with an off season), hungrier and will have less pressure on us.

Having RTS at the back and Ferguson in the centres will naturally change some of our attacking philosophies - as will missing SBW. IMO we are short a ballpaying forward to get more second phase play in the middle. Merrin would fill that role perfectly

We will also fill the role that Jason Taylor has left to hopefully bring in new ideas. Given that JT and Green bothed used positions at the Roosters to go into head coaching roles, any decent assistance coaching would jump at the chance to work at the Roosters.

I don't think it will be doom and gloom next year. IMO, we still had the best roster this year, but missed out on the GF due to luck and lack of hunger. We will be in the mix next year - I reckon we will be top 4. Once you're in the teop 4 it will all come down to the bounce of the ball and injuries at the back end of the season.

          I agree with Crunching.

Tough times could be ahead. This will show us just how good Robbo is.

i am sure the players will enjoy a different approach in playing styles as their training for the past 2 seasons has essentially been the same.i dare say this is why we had the season we did and to me explains why if there was a attitude problem is why and a coupled with a fmd attitude on getting hammered by the refs would do any teams head in.

What does the winning player get as an award?

How about Turk's Trucker Cap autographed by the man himself..

I think buying a few depth players is a must. We lack backup. The Newtown and NYC teams have very little backup. I think we need some older reserve forwards, older than 26yr old bracket. Every team needs fresh signing. Two years straight with little signings, worries me. If a forward gets injured, Evans replaces him, who comes into first 17? I think some experience is needed in reserve. Another LOD is needed.

..Houston, laffranchi, Waterhouse. Maybe all past it, but I think can add a good 20-30 minute run off bench.

Too many problems with him, attitude wise and if we were going to have another back, Foran is the one I'd go for.

Second year with robbo, the opposition had a year to work us out, copy our good points and our hunger had unfortunately diminished. Last year it was said our guys were off the drink all season, yet they only decided to go off the drink after the loss to the Sharks late in 2014. That says something about the lack of commitment at the start of the season. Lets hope they go off the drink all season in 2015, that will show how committed they really are to succeed.
Don't forget we had a team meeting after the Cowboys loss where we came out and said we where going to stay off the drink, then after the Cronulla loss they came out again saying 'don't worry fans , we aren't going to drink anymore this season, we'll be right.'
How much / often are they drinking to have them all assume the losses were alcohol related?

I would like to see us get Nathan Brown as the assistant coach to replace JT. Brown has guided St Helens to the ESL GF and has said that he is coming back to Australia cause of his family. He is a smart coach and would bring in some good new ideas for us. If Robbo hasn't been that impressed by McNamara, replace him with Potter.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                                Here's looking at you, kid.
