Whoever said Guerra been disappointing needs to stop watching football... That takes cake even for this place.

All the praise for Topou amazes me. The way he gets belted coming out of our own end nearly cost us the GF last year and killed the start of our sets 7/10. He's done nothing this year that any other fringe rep winger hasn't done. A lot of them have done it better. His effort/read on Tuquiri first half last week was deplorable. I have no hesitation to say Nene would have been more valuable in last 5 games than Tupou.
Tupou to fullback -> LOL LOL LOL

    Positives
Pearce, SKD, Friend, Moa, Napa, Jennings, GUERRA, MacDonald

    Neutral
SBW, Mini, Tupou, Maubs, RTS, Cordner, Evans

    Negatives
    FPN, JWH,

Casty I knew nothing about to start with... So neither here nor there.

Maloney I really can't put my finger on...

I guess its everyone having an opinion and opinions do differ. There is no right and wrong answer here. Do you claim to have to right opinion? If so then you should try and coach a team however what we can best get out of this is an overview of who we the fans think did well, and who didn't. Someone with plenty of time, like Turkey should get an average of all these results to see what we really think.

All I will say is I dont understand why some continue to defend FPN. The guy brings nothing. He is supposed to be an impact player? What impact is there? Which game did he actually play well in this year?
      Get rid of him.

True story... they went out and got pissed. Girls threw themselves at 2 hot, young, fit Origin players all night. Close to when Barry O'D!ckhead's King's Cross lockout laws came into place at 10PM (so maybe 9:30) the bouncer said 'everybody get out!!! NOW!!!!'

Pearce said 'man that sux!!! It's not 10:00 yet, we still have a few minutes!!' Bouncer said 'you're Mitchell Pearce aren't you!!! Time for me to make a show out of this... POLIIIIIIICE!!!!! CHANNEL 9!!!!! DAILY TELEGRAPH!!!!! MAKE SURE THERE'S A CAMERA FOR THIS!!!!!'

Cops came and said 'mate I don't care!!!! Get out!!!!' Pearce said 'but it's 9:30!!!' Cops said 'RIGHT YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!!!! Barry O'D!ckhead wanted some proof that his stupid laws are working'.

Boyd came up and said 'but it is 9:30 and the bouncer was being a jerk... see, he's called channel 9 and the tele... it's all BS...'

Cop... I DON'T CARE!!! NOW EFF OFF OR I'LL ARREST YOU TOO!!!

Afterwards Pearce said sorry and paid a fine. The Tele and Channel 9 looked for a starstruck girl who wanted to make up a BS story about being assaulted/raped. No biters, so they decided to post a blurry photograph instead.

The whole issue fizzled away and Pearce had an awesome season. NEEEEEEXT!!!

Well I thought Cordner was excellent post-Origin. At least up until last weeks game where he had a shocker.

Before then he was regularly busting and punching through the line whilst making 150-200 metres.

Our ball control and defence is what slipped this year. Especially in big matches. So I'm not sure how on earth anyone can say that our performance this year is down to the poor play of any one specific player.

The Rabbits first four tries were diabolical. The 2013 side wouldn't concede those in a 6 hour game of football.

That's where we dipped significantly. And that sure wasn't SBWs fault... or Cordner's, Maloney's etc

                FPN is useless.

                JWH rarely played with aggression.

SBWs highlights reel for this year would last 30 seconds. Last year would last 10 minutes.

RTS was very average. And too slow.

Toops needs to fight harder in the tackle. Does he realise how much potential he has?

Maloney and Cordner were way down on 2013 form.

Not too many highlights from Jennings.

Aubo needs much more time on the field.

                Friends, Pearce, Napa all improved.

SKD had a great year. Really improved his defence and was the best of the backs running out of our danger end.

I disagree only with your views on Napa. Last year he came off with some great defensive hits. This year, well they weren't there and got himself reported for a shoulder charge but he tried to do two. Napa for me was just another flop considering what he did last year.

                      Pearce pulled his head in.

                      Cordner dodged a bullett.

We are talking about this season.

                        He was great last season.

This season he went backwards in a big way.

Hopefully he will find some motivation to step up again next season.

Friend? I haven't had to defend Friend in over 2 years. His ability has finally been accepted & recognised on here.

And yes I'll always defend Cordner for the same reasons I'll always defend players like Friend & Pearce because I know first hand he's one of the hardest trainers, I know how much respect he has for the club & just how determined he is to succeed. As a supporter of our club that'll always be enough for me to defend any player at our club. The only thing more laughable is those actually questioning his talent.

I mean did someone seriously suggest that if Cornder doesn't pick up his game next year he should be moved on?

Really? The bloke who averaged more metres per game than ANY other forward in our squad, the guy who made more linebreaks than ANY other forward in the entire competition. Anyone who thinks you achieve those sorts of stats on the back of a poor attitude towards preparation is ignorant beyond belief.

And why because he enjoys a beer in his free time? Used to live with Todd Carney nearly a year ago? Spare me.

Cordner only disappointed this season because most people don't seem to have a memory that extends beyond that range of about 4-6 weeks. Yes Cordner had a underwhelming end to the season but I'm not sure many people realise just how hampered he's been by his leg injury or even that he was carrying such an injury.

Some really good points there R6 that people need to take into account with Cords. It was very easy to see that Cords was playing busted in our last 4 games. Yes he was ordinary against the pamfers and $ouff$, and I blew up delux with those couple of errors he made in that last game against $ouff$, but then I had to remind myself that it was a courageous effort just for him to be out on the field.

Maloney was the same, and was very inconsistent as a result. He was brilliant against the warriors in the lead up to the finals and against the cowboys in the finals, but had a shocker against the pamfers and was MIA against $ouff$.

Jennings also looked like he was playing busted after SOO, and as a consequence had very little impact at the back end of the season.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                            Here's looking at you, kid.

That's correct all opinions, happy put mine out there and even happier for others to critique it... I am not an NRL coach but I do have the under rated ability to recognise more than tries, line breaks and flashy offloads... There's been no left edge back rower better than Cordner this year. Maybe Cooper's finish to the season..

Again what's the value of a 'defensive hit' here and there? Playing in the heat of opening 20 minutes and doing a stand up job at it is a massive improvement on a few defensive hits during the lower standard minutes of the game...
