    To go to rugby?

If so wouldn't surprise me. I spoke with him about 6 months ago and he admitted he still misses the game.

On top of that, he can't take to the field without being harassed by the refs. I'd want to leave too.

I would rather have Srama and let Stranger go. A back up hooker to Friend is very important, and I would prefer Maubs be utilized in the backrow.

No doubt Hastings will be used as a utility, but ideally be called upon in case of an injury. Hastings will be more comfortable in the halves and fullback, whilst Srama is a specialist dummy half.

Sam Lousi is a mountain of a man, a prop/secondrower standing at 198cm and weighing 116kg, aged only 23. Under the right coaching, he could prove to be a devastating impact player off the bench or even possible starter. We need added firepower in the forwards, as shown in that finals game against $ouff$ where we were overpowered in the forwards.
We have signed that papalli kid and he seemed like a pretty big atheltic kid, and I think he is only around 20

I could live with JWH going and Merrin coming.

I love Jared but he's just too mad. There's controlled aggression and then there's bordering on Les Boyd territory.

Toupu is more valuable as a try scorer than a front row forward that gives away a lot of penalties and all he does is defend. You win games by scoring.

I also think Toupo is showing some loyalty to the club and it would have to be some massive incentive for him to leave for another club. I think the raiders could throw up to $1m and he still wouldn't take it. Who wants to play in Canberra?
When did Toups become a try scoring machine?

That is true the full Monty Burns, his name is Abraham Papalii and hopefully he will turn out to be a good signing!

Despite his poor form this year I'd be pretty devastated if this happened.

I love his passion and connection with the fans. He's a top bloke.

I'm sure the club would only allow this if Merrin came on board.

Apparently Merrin is not allowed to come until he changes his last name to Merrin-Pearson (hopefully thats right) because if we lose too many triple barrel names our mojo is gone.

Clovelly has first options on JWH if he leaves the Roosters

I agree TS, I don't want to see JWH go either!! I thought he was really good for us in that 6 game winning streak leading into the finals and went ok in the finals, and he was massive for us in 2013. This year he was right behind the eight ball from the start of the season with not getting a proper pre season due to the world cup. With a proper pre season this time around, we can see a return of the 2013 version of JWH next season.

True, you have a point. He only got 14 tries. Mini got 17, SKD 10 and Jennings 11 and RTS 7...Overall Not great stats but that is probably due to the fact the whole team just didn't click like last year. All those bombs he got sent over last year just disappeared this year. Still though he is highly considered for the NSW squad whilst JWH has been dropped from the NZ team. I know who I would prefer not to lose.

Unless it is for union, I can't see any reason as to why JWH would ask for a release. Everyone knows he loves the roosters and always speaks highly of the playing group and Trent when spoken too. I'd be very surprised if wanted out, and it would be quite dissapointing too

FYI he recently stated that he had started talks with Trent and nick to extend

It would leave a massive hole for us if JWH left.

He is one of the most dominant and intimidating props in the game. Hard to replace.

Exactly Jack. And I dont understand some of the negativity on here about his season. He had an amazing season last year which was always going to be hard to replicate.
He will do me as our front rower
