A couple of signings I would like to see are Sam Lousi and Matt Srama.
Srama is only 23 and looked really good at hooker for the tits a year or two ago. Injury and from what I can tell a falling out with Cartwright, has restricted him lately. I would rather have Srama and let Stranger go. A back up hooker to Friend is very important, and I would prefer Maubs be utilized in the backrow.
No doubt Hastings will be used as a utility, but ideally be called upon in case of an injury. Hastings will be more comfortable in the halves and fullback, whilst Srama is a specialist dummy half.
Sam Lousi is a mountain of a man, a prop/secondrower standing at 198cm and weighing 116kg, aged only 23. Under the right coaching, he could prove to be a devastating impact player off the bench or even possible starter. We need added firepower in the forwards, as shown in that finals game against $ouff$ where we were overpowered in the forwards.

Tough and uncompromising 2nd rower/prop, just ask Steve Matai . I've have so much admiration for Allgood since that night when he sat Matai on his arse after racing in (as usual) to involve himself in a scuffle.

I read somewhere afterwards that Allgood had a wayward youth and was a street fighter.

You are quite right Gman. A son of a mate of mine who played footy for Parra in the 70s, is a good friend of Allgood. He can look after himself ok.

Matai was lucky he got sent off.....Mitch would eat Matai alive..he was playing with him like most Rugby League punch-ups of recent years were, if he hit him as hard as he could have he would have done some serious damage to Matai by way of illustration, Garry Jack (Ian Roberts style).. trust me.

You could be right there Gman, Allgood is a big boy at 194cm and I do love his aggression! He does get bonus points for that punch on catai. We would just need to get him at the right price.

Yes, when it comes to Easts people usually choose to ignore who we lose/let go. The fact is we definitely have money with Mini/SBW leaving, most I suspect though will go towards the retention/upgrades of current squad.
