Arguably the best hooker in the comp this year. How he is constantly snubbed at the daly m I will never know. For mine he and C.Smith are in a league of their own and the rest are not within cooee of them. I was having an argument the other day with a gronkos fan who reckons that A.Mccullough is the next in line for QLD....

Since we're talking about ourselves I was a 48 second 400m sprinter at my best... not awesome but scraped into nationals. I got myself down from 58 seconds (ordinary Saturday arvo runner quality) to 48 seconds (part of a silver medal winning state team, and a middle of the group runner at nationals). I had to train 2 times a day, 6 days a week to get there... didn't drink at all and definitely didn't smoke. I know a lot of runners who ran sub 50s naturally and could get down to 46 seconds with training. In my experience the people in that category who smoked never got below high 46s (enough to make the finals at the olympic qualifiers in Australia)... it's like they capped out. Those in that category who nurtured themselves to the point where no poisons (or bad food) would go into their bodies would do low 46s, 45s and in one case a 44. They would be the guys winning college scholarships in the USA, qualifying for diamond league (winning $$$ for appearances) and constantly breaking PBs rather than getting frustrated and asking 'WHY CAN'T I BEAT THE HIGH 46 THAT I SET 3 YEARS AGO?!?!? I TRAIN JUST AS HARD AS YOU GUYS!!!!' When you're elite then being better than most people isn't good enough...
