  • Hoffman?

Reports are that josh hoffman has been given permission to look for a new club after meeting with Wayne Bennett. Could be a quite handy player

A reported +600K has been offered by the faiders. No thank you.

Trust in RTS. With Space at FB and seeing more of the ball he will be unstoppable.

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

      No no no no no.

Why would we spend significant coin we don't have on a FB not even as good as RTS.

      Silly season, indeed.

If we can get Merrin to replace FPN then great. Otherwise no drastic changes necessary.

$600k to go to CBR is not enough. No one wants to play there. If it keeps going like that, I feel the Raiders will have to relocate...You heard it here first

I reckon he needs to lose 4-5kg. He won't need that extra bulk as he wont be used as a battering ram next year.

Think Slater, Tomkins, Gordon - that type of physique.
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

I heard Brett Stewart is going to Canberra.

He has been responsible for collecting the money and arranging the end of season celebrations for years. This season he, his broken down brother and Watmough didn't even turn up. Three assholes right there.

All three have backended contracts (pun not intended). It's no wonder tooves wanted them out of there asap.

Agreed... with the extra space his focus will be on speed and tackle busting. We didn't sign him to replace Moa/JWH.

My only concern is that he was a little too easy to drive back this season. IMO it's going to be a fine balance between size and speed... he'll get there.

Tupou went to a whole new level when he bulked up a little. Fergo's also a pretty bulky guy... so we'll possibly have enough size in our back line next year if RTS goes down the small, zippy FB pathway.

In a word no!! he is not that good, and is asking way too much let the bulldogs, warriors and raiders fight it out for him and pay massive overs.

                          Not needed.
We finally have a ball playing fullback with the best step in the game. He will add a new dimension to our attack and will have a whole pre-season to get ready. He just needs to sort out his positioning in defence and directing our defence which will come under the guidance of Mini. If something happens we always have Fergo, SOH played fullback at the Dragons and Mitchell looks a future star.

                              For sure...
We'll be the same team too, just with a gun new FB, a gun new winger/centre and SBW's replacement able to take full ownership of the #12 jersey. Add to that some competition for the captainship (with a new captain out there to prove himself) and some new tactics that take into account the new skills we'll have onboard.

If we're more consistent than this year then we'll be minor premiers. If Souffs win then the refs will stop showing sympathy towards Souffs, the target will be on their head and we'll be able to sneak in as underdogs if we play our cards right.
