    The coverage has been awful.

To hear knobheads like Robert Craddock say that this was a Premiership for the game, one that everyone can enjoy UNLIKE last year because it was the Roosters who are famous for their spending sprees.

    I kid you not!

This whole thing has been the NRLs goal. At 12 nil in our game the refs started to panic, blowing Souffs into dominance with very suspect penalties.

It wasn't a fix. But it was what they dearly wanted which simply has to have an effect on fairness - in refereeing and coverage/promotional build up.

But, they are next to zero chance of going b2b. Sam Burgess is the centre piece of their power game. With Stewart replacing him at lock they'll have to adjust completely and they'll struggle.

We'll bounce back and knock them off their perch. And it'll be a great feeling.

I have bitten my tongue all week for not wanting to sound like a whinger however I can stand it no longer and could not agree more with all of you. They played well however the GF was all about souths;the media, the fact they had their song blasting when they ran out, hell the bulldogs even ran out to red and green lights for god sake..

The NRL have not even tried to hide the fact they were desperate for souths to win the comp. After the Coogee fiasco and the complete rort of the prem final I was so angry but the thing that got me going most of all was when I walked into the Allianz stadium(our home ground) during GF week and they had souths balloons and streamers up..

Now this is a club that left that stadium and took a Financial deal with homebush stadium so I knew that they would not be supporting them so I asked the girl behind the counter why they had them up.. Response was "the NRL headquarters asked management to put them up as it was a good look for the game"..amazing..if it was for the game why were Bulldog balloons not up?

The NRL bias towards Souths is getting ridiculous, they even went to Canberra to see the government about the deal with souths and Randwick council( a council in our area) in regards to heffron park becoming their base and wanting $23 million in government funding, this is after they already received government funding for Redfern. No other NRL club has had this assistance, I wonder why..

The Coogee fiasco might not affect those who don't live in the East subs but for those of us that do it kills us. I have lived in Coogee my whole life and for the council to have a vote, which anyone in Aust could vote in, to tell us whose area it is is disgusting. Has anyone ever heard a person say they live in "south sydney" when living in Coogee? Of course not. The majority of us all go for Easts and are disgusted by the council, who remember are in a financial deal with souths, for the way they have treated its residents.

The Rabbitohs want the entire East Subs make no mistake about it and I believe our club helped this move by losing the Eastern Subs name and going with Sydney. A huge mistake. Our clubs best bet is to reconnect with the majority of the East and with this new partnership with the central coast we may also be able to take over/incorporate the North Sydney RL into our area too. That will give us a huge area and protect our future. The club needs to act to give us a larger area.We know the "Souths loving" NRL wont help us.

I think the more people accept the reality of football, and life, the easier it is to handle Souffs winning the comp.

The fact is you can't win them all. ****, for some teams you can't even win one!

And when you're not winning the comp, chances are a team you hate are. See Manly twice, Dogs, Dragons, Broncos and now the arch enemy. All in the last 10 years!

And all the teams I ****ing hate. But such is life. After the horrors of 2004 and 2010, far worse imo given we lost the GFs to such vile clubs, I've been battle hardened enough to deal with Souffs winning.

Let them celebrate. **** em. We still had the absolute joy of winning last year. Nothing will change that. And we're set up to be competitive for the next 5-8 years too.

              Happy days.

              Ebbs and flows people.

              Focus on the positives!

We're the most successful club since the turn of the century. And it ain't even that close!

              That's something to rejoice in.

Now bring on 2015 and reclaiming our crown.

Well said and that's what a classy Rooster member should sound like. We fear no one and don't need to make excuses for our failure or our oppositions success, we can leave this behaviour for the insecure clubs and their halfwit supporters.

This is the sort of stuff that makes me angry.

Souffs have bought as many as us.

All this mass hysteria is really turning me off the game.

We better win one again before they do.

I believe this is a build up of what the whole rugby league community want t see, a grand final between the Roosters v Vermin Well not everyone in the community but on current roster, we are the strongest teams even without SBW and SBU. The trump card we have is the return of Fergo...then again, have we already signed him? I have the fear that his indigenous roots might spoil our party.

Even so I feel the BIG is coming next year and I have the strongest feeling that we will be a better team next year.

I agree. I think with SBW moving on, the current crop of players will feel it's their duty to take on the work load and responsibility and this will lift them to another level.

                              They won't.

Because they have no won one.

Nothing will be the same again.
