Bit short on depth next year

This is my biggest concern heading into next year. Outside of our top 17 there's really not many players with a whole lot of first grade experience.

Blooding players like Meehan, Hastings & Macdonald in 2014 was a must because I reckon these 3 especially will play quite a few games next year.

It'll be interesting to see how many Jets players follow the club over to Wyong and whether we end up offering any of the current Wyong squad dual contracts.

Overall a good mix of young and old, with a bit more youth than last year.

We're lacking depth big time. Having all our backup as untried kids isn't depth. Broncos, souths, cowboys and Penrith have plenty of depth. Newtown were shocking this year. We need at least 5 players in reserve that have played a heap of first grade. Penrith had Nathan smith, Ryan Simpsons. Souths had reddy and champion. Just examples. Not great players but tried players. Putting rookies in is a must but rookies playing reserve grade together doesn't develop them.

Yep I know and can tell everybody. We haven't signed anybody yet, although we have lost Casty, SBW and Mini.

Onto rumours.

Rumours are just that. IMO our depth is pretty good... we just need to replace 2 awesome players who were both being paid less than they are worth (Mini had the 1 club discount... will that be handed on to Pearce? Sonny was a gentleman and gave us a really good deal... no idea what Casty was on but have heard not a lot).

IMO Fergo is more than a rumour because he has a job with our club and we tried to sign him mid-season. If the NRL allows then we will probably sign him to replace Mini.

SBW... who knows? He was only on $500k and I'd be guessing a stack of players will have decent claims for salary upgrades (Tupou, Moa, Napa...etc). Not sure what Casty was on but IMO after upgrading others we'll probably only have enough left for one gun forward. Who? Nobody has signed with us... I don't think Uncle Nick/Canavan/Robbo know who we'll sign. We'll see I guess
