Guerra is a backrower, but word is that he has been training in the centres.
As for PTB's comment, Williamson Guerra Conn Jones and Kennedy are all only reserve players, but could be selected form and injury permitting. I am not 100% sure of how some of the players are recovering, especially with JWH injured now too, Kennedy is almost a shoe-in.

I was chatting with a player and he mentioned that Kennedy have won most of the challenges in the gym and is impressing quite a lot of people, including the coaching staff, the head coach and the players themselves. Mose Masoe is also another that was mentioned as topping some of the challenges. I hope this could mean these to can step up and play above their expectations this year....

The thing with SKD is that plenty of people in the know as in coaches and selectors rate him highly (or used to). I think he has a lot of ability, but needs to be coached at the NRL level properly.
Disclaimer : as SKD is associated with Clovelly Crocs, I would love for him to come through the form (or lack of it) and do vey wellThe Internet is a place for posting silly things

We have basically gone though a generational change with players with players like freddy, Ricko, Fitzy, bonetti, fletcher and wing all going on their own paths.
I mean the only one left standing at the Roosters from the 2002 grand final is Mini and even he has been in and out with injuries.
Add to that the roller coaster of coaches we have had since stuart was sacked. anderson came in as a second option, he had ideas.......they did not work, his heart wasn't in it....literally, in comes freddy, no experience...........rides the wave of emotion, we look good, but the signs were there, that brings us to where we are now.
A coach that has a no nonsense attitude who knows how to develop players to play as a team and to their strengths.
I think we will see alot of the younger players pushed to develop to their ability and potential, players like SKD, maubs and Jaubs, and pearce will be pushed unlike in the past where they may have been told they are the best without the push to show it.
We are up in arms after coming last, we came last because we had an inexperienced coach who rode the wave of emotion but could not fully develop our players.
We will see some players really step up....why???? because, Smith will push them, if they don;t perform, bye bye.

He is another player that will also improve under Smith, i am quietly tipping that he may be considered for captaincy some time in the next couple of season.

I don't mean to sound racist, but sounding up a large Islander player such as Cherrington on a long-term contact seemingly gives him a reason to be complacent. A player like Jones, Perrett, Pearce, etc, I don't mind the long-term contracts, but for players who have had issues with laziness, long-term contracts should be avoided. Look what happened with Sa.
Paea is under pressure for multiple reasons. Firstly, he is the most experienced of our forwards after Ryles, yet his form last year wasn't too good, especially compared to 2007/2008. There are lots of young forwards coming through, like JWH, Nuuausala, Kennedy, Arona...they will all put pressure on Paea. And lastly, he is off-contract at the end of this coming season.
