Your probably right but to be honest having a nice bloke like Fitzy as skipper never did us any favours with the ref.

A captain needs passion both on and off the field for success, needs to be a player who will lead my example and someone players look to when they need inspiration.

Anasta has those qualities , I really don't care who the ref's like

The only person who people should lose respect for is Topou for not running in and belting Faafukface after the punch.

As much as i would have liked to see that, you just cant do that sort of thing anymore without being severely punished.Although nothing seemed to happen to that nutter if my memory serves me correctly

Tupou shit himself, I'm sure it wasn't self restraint that I saw.

absolutely right. Not many other teams would have let Fa'alogo get away with that. Tupou walked over like he was a souths player. Very soft

That just made me think of one of my favourite quotes......"OOH VILLISANTI, REALLY SHOOK UP BY MORLEY". Almost brings a tear to the eye

I hated how neither pissweak Tupou nor anyone else did anything at the time, and thinking about it again makes me hate it even more.

Here we have a forward king hitting a back whilst he's getting up to play the ball.

It should have resulted in nothing less than a manically vicious attack on Fa'alogo and any other Souths dog that wanted to get involved.

The fact that they did f all was appalling and probably hurt Anasta more than Fa'alogo did

                  Disgraceful

Faalogo was suspended for about 8 weeks from memory.

                          It has to be Mason.

He is a proven leader (as in "lead astray").

This is what I got, for what it is worth....

The obvious - Carney is training at fullback, chiming into the backline out wider. One reason why Mini is starting on the wing is to ease him back into the game. He should end up back at fullback, but not right away ..

JWH wants to take every hit-up..

JWH and FPN are big, farking angry men on the football field..(Both are in for massive years this year).

Conn is also training the house down and certainly wants to play first-grade

A few of the big boys are still carrying too much pud..(Ryles and Myles were mentioned).

There is this massive unit with an iron jaw running in the centres..(JP Du...)

Pearce is pulling off some very tricky plays..

Brian Smith has total control over this rabble from last year. It is military-like...He points at someone and they come and bow down in front of him while he tells them what he wants..then they go and do exactly that..

I know every club is "training the house down" at this time of the year, but there are some great signs..

                                I hope people are interested..
Interested? That's bloody exciting. I'm expecting (and praying and wishing and hoping) for a much better 2010. Can't wait.
