speaking with jwh over the last few years he really wanted to play back row, like the tough stuff but doesn't enjoy being a battering ram, knows he's got lots more to offer running a bit wider, of course taking off a bit of weight preseason will help, but then as a battering ram he needed it?

I would keep JWH & Moa as my starting props interchanging with Napa & Lui. I would play Aubusson & Guerra in the backrow with Cordner playing lock. If FPN is not with us next year then obviously he has to be replaced but at this stage he would be on my bench with Hastings otherwise Meehan & Hastings.
I would replace Mini with Fergusson, hopefully & l would leave the backline as is.
For the Roosters to be title contenders next year they need another high quality forward to replace SBW.
How long is Greg Bird contracted to the Titans for?

I also still think RTS to FB is the best move, his impact is diminishing from the wing whereas the talent of Fergo will be apparent where ever he is on the field.

I just like big fullbacks even though smaller FB are lethal like Slater so that's why I would play Fergusson at FB although I do agree with you that Fergusson will be apparent where ever he is on the field.

I also feel if we do get Merrin, we would lose Guerra. Not just because we wouldn't have enough cash to re-sign him, but also because a promising junior like Meehan would not get a spot.
My problem isn't really Fergo at FB it's RTS on the wing. While he is one of the best wingers in the comp his impact is just not the same as it was in 2013, he's spotted now. If he was to move to FB I feel as if that problem would be solved.

I thought Aubusson was our best backrower before SBW came to the club but providing we have Merrin who do you Aubusson ahead of 2 Australian backrowers?
