I hear all the time (especially from Buzz) that POS should not be allowed to continue working in the NRL after his role in the Melbourne 2010 salary rorts.

I'm confused. I thought his position was the recruitment manager, not the salary cap auditor. Is his position to solely recruit players, or does he control their contracts and salary dispersion?

He is General Manager Player List and Recruitment, a position he also held previously with the Storm, which means he manages the Roosters salary cap at both NRL and NYC levels.

If I bought you 10000 big islanders and indigenous kids I am sure a couple would turn out to be good footballers.
Most of the players we think are the Roosters greats are not here because of POS.

Ever wonder why we have gone through U20s coaches, because POS has too much control and the coaches hate it.
The interesting thing is that his "control" at the Roosters seems to be fading somewhat and this can't be bad.

The staff hate him, the players hate him. Politis just hasn't seen through the crap yet.

Put it this way Foss if POS was at any other club as the recruitment manager 98% of posters on here would agree with Buzz & say he is a cheat but because he is at the Roosters & I'm glad he is they accept him. They will give it to Bellamy & the players for being cheats but don't associate POS position at the Storm as being part of the salary cap scandal.

Put it this way, if he announced he was parting ways with us, there would be at least half a dozen clubs interested & prepared to pay $$$ to get him.

What about the fact that last premiership squad contained quite a number of direct signings by him > Tupou, RTS, Guerra, Cordner, Liu, Napa. He's no flash in the pan recruiter.
