Such a free flowing game.

Contrast that to the last two Bulldogs-Souths games which were disgraceful, stop start dive-a-thons with more wrestling than the Olympics.

It was very enjoyable, the Samoan defense particularly their right side was sensational.
I do suspect it was based on the St George defense of 2010 (offside quite a bit) but they got away with it and made the NZ left side ineffective. Until the last couple of mins.

How good was it to see Vatuvai get fired up and angry man still with that smile on his face

Good tough game no acting or playing for penalties , the one referee systems still seems o work well - should stick with it.

He certainly looks strange with that haircut, but he had a blinder and was one of the main reasons (esp in defense) that Samoa were in the game.

I did love the hit Vatuvai put on him though

Good solo effort by Jennings almost undone by a lazy put down. He has a habit of doing that (see most of his tries), hopefully that doesn't come back to bite him.

McNamarra can feel free to pass on some of England's structures to our boys... The play for try in left corner is sort of structure we seemed miss this year.
