I've seen tries awarded with less downward pressure. Conspicuous they use an Australian Ref. At least Yawnion has the right idea about using ref's from other countries.

I hope New Zealand flogs them.

I'd be looking for more than a finger nail on the end of a moving ball to award a try.

Without Scott, Tamou, Myles, Gallen, Thurston, Morris, Boyd & Slatter the Aussies were on par with England so it made for a close entertaining game IMO.

Because I don't see a lot of the England players I was surprised by a few of them. Ryan Hall, Kallum Watkins, Liam Farrell & Joel Tomkins would have no problem playing NRL even O Loughlin at 31 would still cut it IMO.

They used to say Australia could field a 3rd string team & still beat who ever they played but that certainly isn't the case now, we are only a 8 player better team than what England are & without those 8 players Australia IMO wont beat NZ.

As good as what he may become they have picked Dylan Walker to early. Where is Josh Morris or even old Hodgo?

I reckon they'd have given it if Hall had claimed it. He sort of gave himself up when he went for the second effort.

The refs were supposed to be neutral for this competition, but Australia and NZ overturned that this week, when they both voted to have their own ref in both games.

It's ridiculous how they're allowed to do that. Would never happen in any other sport.
